Job Description

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide flexible clinical sessions for a progressive GP practice in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess patients with undifferentiated presentations and develop management plans
• Undertake advanced clinical decision making including differential diagnosis
• Prescribe, order investigations and interpret results within scope of practice
• Provide urgent and routine appointments aligned to practice pathways
• Coordinate with GPs, nurses and allied professionals to support safe patient flow
• Record consultations accurately with clear safety netting and follow up plans

Requirements
• Relevant professional registration and ACP level qualification or equivalent experience
• Independent Prescriber status preferred where required for the role
• Recent experience in primary care or urgent care with autonomous practice
• Knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance and NHS pathways
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Right to work in the UK and ability to complete compliance checks promptly

Working Pattern
• Up to 2 days per week with flexibility on days and session length
• Temporary cover with potential for extension by mutual agreement
• A mix of routine and on the day appointments depending on service need
