Job Description

Locum Ready is looking for a General Practitioner to provide dependable clinical sessions for an established GP practice in Boston.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high quality face to face and telephone consultations as required
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in primary care
• Provide appropriate referrals, fit notes and onward management plans
• Review results, action clinical correspondence and ensure safe follow up
• Prescribe safely in line with local formulary and national guidance
• Document consultations clearly with accurate coding and safety netting

Requirements
• GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register
• Recent UK primary care experience with confidence managing same day demand
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, clinical governance and QOF processes
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining patient centred care
• Competent with common primary care clinical systems and workflow
• Right to work in the UK and appropriate indemnity arrangements

Working Pattern
• Up to 4 days per week available with flexibility on start dates and session structure
• Sessions can be arranged as regular weekly cover or a short term block
• Supportive admin setup with a balanced mix of appointments and results
