Job Description
Locum Ready is recruiting a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a friendly GP practice requiring extra clinical cover in Grimsby.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver advanced clinical care including history taking, examination and diagnosis
• Run minor illness clinics and contribute to same day demand management
• Prescribe and review medications in line with best practice and local guidance
• Refer to secondary care and community services where appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete coding to a high standard
• Contribute to team handovers and support safe clinical decision making
Requirements
• NMC registration with advanced practice qualification and relevant primary care experience
• V300 Independent Prescriber qualification
• Evidence of continuing professional development and up to date mandatory training
• Ability to work autonomously while recognising limitations and escalating appropriately
• Experience using clinical systems and working within NHS primary care pathways
• Enhanced DBS and occupational health clearance where required
Working Pattern
• Up to 2 days per week with flexible session times to suit your availability
• Temporary cover with potential to extend depending on practice requirements
• Choice of regular weekly sessions or ad hoc shifts where possible
