Job Description
Locum Ready is looking for Practice Nurses in Cleethorpes.
This role offers dependable primary care sessions within supportive practices that run organised nurse clinics and value high standards of patient care. You will have access to clear protocols, strong admin support and an experienced clinical team to ensure clinics are well paced and well resourced.
Up to 3 days a week available, with flexible booking options.
Role Snapshot
• Practice Nurse clinics covering treatment room work and long-term condition activity depending on your skills and the session requirement.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver cervical cytology, immunisations and routine injections as required.
• Provide wound care, dressings and general treatment room duties.
• Support long-term condition monitoring such as asthma, COPD or diabetes where competent.
• Undertake health promotion, screening and preventative care interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, coding and stock or cold chain processes.
• Work in line with infection control, safeguarding and practice policies.
Requirements
• NMC registration.
• Recent experience in UK general practice or a primary care setting.
• Competence in treatment room skills, with cytology desirable.
• Knowledge of infection control, vaccine storage and clinical documentation standards.
• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne preferred.
• Up-to-date safeguarding and basic life support training.
Working Pattern
• Temporary, locum, part-time or contract options available.
• Up to 3 days per week, with AM or PM clinics and occasional extra sessions.
• Clinic duties agreed before booking to match your competencies.
